How to Keep Dry no Matter What
Don’t let any of the elements slow you down. The perfect gear will help you stay dry and on your way to your next adventure.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
☐ Dry Bags
☐ Waterproof Tent
☐ Rain cover
☐ Waterproofing spray
Step 1: Start with your boots. Make sure your footwear is fully waterproof to avoid soggy feet and socks
Step 2: Invest in quality raincoats and pants for full body protection. It never hurts to also pack extra clothes and socks. Anything can happen in the outdoors!
Step 3: Pack your gear in dry bags and keep your rainfly securely fastened for ultimate protection.
Step 4: Choose a waterproof tent with a high PU coating to keep rain on the outside of your living spaces. Also consider models that include a vestibule, so muddy wet boots can be left outside to dry.
Step 5: Pack tarps and a rope in case you need to cover anything up or create a barrier between the damp ground and your tent. A pair of extension poles can also turn your tarp into a quick shelter.
Step 6: Add additional waterproofing to your campsite. Waterproofing sprays can be used to add an additional layer of protection. Seam sealers can also be used on tents to reinforce tent stitching
Step 7: Bring clothespins and a clothesline to hang clothing to dry. They are the best way to dry things out and get on with your adventure.
